Taking the Higher Path

As I advance upon the path of self mastery, I have come to conclude that certain teachings can accelerate or advance us into higher realms of consciousness. My friend George Mooney says that we can not teach people into enlightenment and this may be true as each of our journeys is unique, but I do say that we can offer signposts or guidelines to awaken the ego-mind into memory to the status of the soul. How that epiphany unfolds is up to each of us for it is with self responsibility and self discipline that brings us to an inner awareness that we are more than our bodies, our current life roles, our job titles, and our pain.

On our personal journeys we come to the awareness that humanity is a disempowered people contributing to tremendous pain and suffering, detachment and loss of true identity. We discover that with a little knowledge we have the potential to revolutionize the world through our connected minds and thoughts in the spirit of Oneness and to create the foundation to set our souls free from organized bondage, necessary to create a fifth-dimensional society—where all are created equal, despite our socialization, cultural beliefs and values. To ground Spirit in to matter and soul into personality, the knowledge we need comes from understanding Universal Law and Principle and their application to the world and human evolution--As above, so below; As within, so without. These basic principles that propel creation provide freedom from where true power comes. When we understand that the mind is free we have the power to co-create anything we wish to guarantee our happiness and peace regardless of mans law.

It is often through the pains of trial and error that we discover some power functioning larger than us, that is until we begin to consider the framework or guidelines for our behaviors and the affect they have on our lives. This realization brings us to express right modes of living--our commitment to the "Way" conveyed through Universal Law. All Universal laws are interrelated and are extensions of physical laws that apply to the spiritual world, which governs all planes of existence in perfect order and flow. Applying the laws is vitally necessary in order to grow and transcend previous ways of existence that do not support the spirit in life. They provide us with a knowledge-of-results framework and a way to become God-realized.

When we come to roadblocks (resistance to the laws) on our journey in life the soul is tested to help us complete lessons needed to be learned. Ultimately self control underlies passage to higher energies and powers into and through our bodies. Command over our mental and emotional bodies and the integration of our masculine and feminine spiritual energies is imperative. Balance is always key in merging with the higher self to gain access to the flow of power.
