Calcium
is a soft, gray, metallic element that tarnishes rapidly on exposure
to air. Calcium is essential to maintaining total body health for
all terrestrial vertebrate life, being the basic constituent of
bones and teeth. Calcium plays an important role in many metabolic
processes, including nerve function, muscle contraction, and blood
clotting.
Your body needs calcium daily. Look to the foods below to make sure
that you are getting adequate amounts in your diet. |

Foods rich in calcium are: Rhubarb,
Collard Greens, Spinach, Turnip Greens, Broccoli, Bok Choy, Brussel
Sprouts, Okra, Peas, Baked Beans, White Beans, Almonds, Sesame
Seeds, Dairy products, tofu, Sardines, Salmon
Most
Americans think they are getting enough calcium everyday, but,
the fact is, many are calcium deficient. Green leafy vegetables
are sorely lacked and the of drinking soda on a regular basis
which causes calcium to be leached from the bones. The dangerous
thing about calcium deficiency is that when blood calcium levels
drop too low, the vital mineral is "borrowed' from the bones.
Calcium is then returned to the bones from calcium supplied through
the diet. Well, if one is already diet deficient in calcium it
is highly unlikely that adequate levels will be available in the
blood to be returned to the bones to maintain strong bones and
total body health. This is how osteoporosis begins where too much
calcium borrowing from the bones creates porosity often leading
to bone fractures. The average person loses 400 to 500mg of calcium
per day. So, if you have suspicion of calcium deficiency get a
bone density test.
When there is impaired
nutrient absorption via the intestinal wall from poor eating habits
vital food nutrients are lost because they are not absorbed and
simply eliminated. Cleansing the intestinal wall is essential
to receiving the nutritive value of natural food. Gently cleansing
the colon through herbs, detox teas, juices and green cell restores
the capacity to absorb nutrients into the body for total body
health.
Taking calcium regularly everyday is the key to preventing and
treating calcium deficiency. Know that Calcium needs change during
different life stages and with levels of health. Here are general
guidelines:
Females
and males from adolescence though adult- 800 to 1200 mg
daily
Females during pregnancy and breastfeeding-1200
to 1500 mg daily
Post-menopausal women not taking

have long been considered the sacraments of healing and
are cited throughout the world's ancient scriptures as
humanity's safest medicines. Many of these precious herbs

for physical attunement. The herb skullcap, one of my
very favorites, is one such herb. I use the herbal extract
to quell nervous tension. The effects of wellbeing are
immediate.
Traditionally
skullcap was used by North American Indians for sedative
and anti anxiety properties. Today it is a natural treament
for anxiety disorder because it helps to balance the hormones
associated with the nervous system and the brain promoting
a greater level of inner peace, which is necessary in
ascension or for anything requiring a prolonged focus.
Emotional highs and lows throw off the biochemistry in
the nervous system whose effects are moodiness and in
some, depression. Skullcap strives to balance the chemistry
so that one remains calm and focused.
Skullcap contains many flavonoids. You
can use the herb to make tea, as an herbal extract and
tincture, or encapsulated.

Essential oils can be used
in diffusers (1-6 drops of essence), inhaled via tissue (1 drop)

blends. Do not use the essence directly on the skin. Always dilute
using one drop of essential oil per ml of oil or 6-30 drops (depending
on potency) per 1 oz=30ml or 2 tablespoons of base oil in a sterilized

on Manifesting your Desires
| Using
visualization techniques are a powerful way to channel positive
mental energy into your life. Use part one to clear away unwanted
thoughts, feelings in the physical,
emotional and mental bodies. Use part two
to affirm your desires. With continued focus and attention your
desires will begin to manifest very quickly, so be careful that
your desires are aligned in your highest and best good.
Part
One:
1-Lay down
in a dark place in whatever position feels most comfortable to
you.
2-Visualize the darkness surrounding you glowing with a soft golden
light. As you inhale deeply, breathe that light into you and cleanse
yourself with it.
3- See the light removing all impurities and disturbances.
Visualize the problems and disharmonies as a sickly green light.
4-As you
exhale, this light comes forth from your mouth, taking with it
all the bad things. Do this until the light coming from your mouth
is only golden. All the sickly green is gone.

Part
Two:
Now, as
you continue to breath slowly and deeply, visualize yourself descending
a staircase.
With each step you take, feel your consciousness expand a little
more.
When you feel as though you are in tune with your surroundings,
come to the bottom of the staircase. Ahead of you see a long hallway
that never stops. Staggered along this hall are doors.
Behind every door is a different peaceful scene. Choose yor scene!
If you want tranquillity, open a door to a tranquil scene. If
you want to do a love ritual, open another door. Behind it you
will feel the love that you will get from your intended. For wealth,
visualize yourself making money in what ever way, and it will
happen so.
When you are ready, slowly walk up the stairs.
You will feel your consciousness returning to normal as you go
higher. You will awake feeling renewed and confidant.

| Ingredients
Olive
Oil
Chopped Yellow Onion
Chopped
Garlic
2
chopped Plum Tomatoes
1/2 Chopped large Portabello Mushroom
Freshly chopped Parsely
Sea Salt
Red
Pepper Flakes
Cooked crumbled Italian Sausage
(Substitute with ground beef, shredded chicken or
vegetable medley)
1/2 ball of Fresh chopped Mozzerella cheese
Thawed
large empanada dough circles (Found in frozen food
section)
Greased Cookie sheet
Heat
oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit
Makes 10-12
large empanadas |
1-In
a small skillet on medium heat sautee sausage in a
little olive oil until cooked. Cover lighlty to keep
oil from splashing. Crumble sausage and Set aside.
2-In
a large skillet on medium heat add olive oil, salt
and red pepper flakes to taste, garlic and onions.
Sautee until
aromatic.
3- Add tomato and portabello mushroom. Sautee until
tomatoes break down.
4 - Add reserved sausage and parsely.
4-Turn
off heat. Add the cheese and toss.
5-Lay out an empanda dough circle. Add a heaping tablespoon
of the mixture to one side. Fold over to form a half
circle.
6-Take
fork tines and press along the edges to seal the pocket.
Do this on both sides.
7-Make fork holes along the top so that the filling
does not burst out opening the pocket at the seams.
8- Place on cookie sheet and bake for about 15 minutes
or until lightly brown.
9-Let cool and Enjoy!
